The Grange
Visual Identity, France, 2025
01. Project Summary
The Grange is a therapy practice in France, centred around communication, personal growth and human connection.
A space designed to feel calm, welcoming and personal, where people can slow down and feel comfortable being themselves.
02. The Idea
A THERAPY PRACTICE THAT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE ONE.
While psychotherapy itself is generally viewed positively in France, there are still cultural and practical barriers around talking openly about psychological difficulties and seeking professional support.
The identity takes a different approach. Rather than immediately signalling therapy, it creates an invitation. Something quieter, more tactile and more human.
03. The Visual Language
LAYERS, TEXTURE, CHANGE
The visual identity draws from geological forms, natural textures and the idea of things being shaped over time.
Rock becomes a visual metaphor for the layers we carry, the experiences that shape us and the possibility of change. Tactile imagery, organic forms and imperfect textures give the identity depth, while typography and generous space bring a sense of calm and clarity.
04. The Result
A VISUAL IDENTITY THAT MAKES SPACE FOR CHANGE.
The result is a therapy brand that feels warm, distinctive and considered without feeling clinical. An identity designed to make the first step feel a little less intimidating, and the process of opening up feel a little more natural.
